C. Mike Rudegeair, DVM, CVA, PA graduated from the University of Florida in 1984. He holds degrees in animal science and veterinary medicine/surgery. He is certified in veterinary acupuncture by the China Society of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and the Chi Institute and is an American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture member. He has received advanced training in Chinese herbal medicine and chiropractic procedures using VOM, veterinary orthopedic manipulation. In addition to conventional (allopathic) treatment he uses Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine in a holistic approach to wellness. He combines allopathic medicine with complimentary modes of treatment including diet, acupuncture, VOM, herbs and other modes of therapy. Dr. rudegeair has advanced training by International Canine Genetics in canine reproduction. He breeds and shows Labrador Retrievers. He has three dogs and one cat.
Mark Hope, DVM a University of Missouri graduate will come on staff April 2007. He practiced equine medicine in Ocala, Fl before joining a small animal AAHA practice in Gainesville, Fl two years ago. His special interest is in small animal dentistry and he will be offering restorative dental procedures including root canals.
